Onyx opens state-of-the-art HQ

Onyx Group has been developing UK’s technology infrastructure for over 15 years. However, our continued success has meant we have outgrown our home for the past 10 years and we have now moved into a new HQ that fully reflects our drive and ambition.

Onyx Group HQ is now situated in a 20,000sq ft state-of-the-art office in Stockton-on-Tees, which holds 40 of our 109 staff. Neil Stephenson CEO of Onyx Group commented “The move has been a natural step in the company’s constant growth and development”.

He continued “Onyx group are on track to achieve annual sales of £23m this year and our new facility will give us the ability to scale the business up past the £50m mark.”

Onyx opened its new offices on 5th Oct with a VIP champagne reception. The official opening was proudly declared by Margaret Fay who chairs regional development agency One North East. She stated “Onyx is at the forefront of a digital movement that is creating jobs throughout the whole region,” and commended Onyx for its contribution to the regions £1.1 billion creative and digital economy. 

The building is a proud representation of where Onyx are right now, over the last 15 years Onyx has transformed from a regional internet service provider into a national IT firm with more than 3,000 clients.
